We lived in the Silicon Valley for 30+ years but recently moved to the NC Coast… we were done with NorCal (don’t need to explain especially if you are a current resident) but we were back for a family event. Pizza Antica is the closest you will get to the Roman pizza…..no lie! We’ve been coming here since they opened. It had been a year since last visited - and to our surprise they TOTALLY revamped the entire restaurant - for the better! Way more efficient and inviting.OMG - the margarita pizza with burrata - will not disappoint, especially if you’re a purest. We also got the margarita with sausage and mushroom (hubby and son’s wishes). We always start with their seasonal salads….so much variety. My only criticism… too much dressing (need to ask for the side). Also another love is the pesto gnocchi…..we tend to start this as an appetizer. It’s on a bed of arugula. Delicious!Don’t need to go on…. It's been family and friend favorite for along time!

As someone spoiled by the stellar San Francisco pizza options, especially when it comes to thin crust, Pizza Antica is one of the few standouts I enjoy in South Bay. The lines here can be frustratingly long, but that's because the quality of the food is outstanding, and not just because it's in Santana Row. A particular favorite is the truffle potato pizza, but all the other options are fabulous too. Salads are small, but tasty, and the clams were delicious as well. Service is decent, though nothing special.

Good overall. Not sure if the value for price paid is justified, but you are paying for the location and ease of meeting others before or after shopping. There's nearly always a wait of 20 minutes to an hour. So, check in, have them text you when your table is ready, and go shopping nearby. Even if just window shopping.Like all of Santana Row, the people watching is many times as enjoyable and diverse as the menu selections.

Horrible service. They left me and my friends waiting for like 20-30 minutes and there were 8 servers and they were all somewhat "busy"? After waiting for like 20-30 minutes my friend went up to the counter and asked for our orders to be taken. When my friend left these ladies next to us were talking to us and felt so sorry for us that we had to wait so long without water even being given to us. When my friend came back we finally got a waiter but we never got the same server. We had four different people serve my table. The second one was the best. My star goes to them ALLLL THE WAY. They gave us extra bread. We also had to wait another 20 minutes for our check. Actually after we waited 20 minutes we had to raise our hand to get the check. Plus we didn't know who to tip so we didn't bother to tip. My pizza crust was also burnt.Worst of all, it wasn't even busy. ತ_ತ

Great food. Reminded me of my time in Italy. The service was exceptional and timely throughout my stay, and I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

Found Pizaa Antica to be quite good with just right ambience for dinner get together with family and friends. They have pretty good beer and wine selection (apparently they are also known for their cocktails). We paired Barbera d'Alba Giocomo Fenocchio, wine with Mushroom Pizza which we really enjoyed. Their salt version of burrata toast with arugula from the appetizer selection was also pretty good. If you are in and around Santana row, a must try! Evenings seem to be pretty busy, so put in your name in the list and wait for the call back. Be prepared to wait!

A popular pizza restaurant at Santana Row. This was our second time here. Pretty large place with outdoor seatings. The appetizers were all pretty good, especially the burrata with toast. The three pizzas though were hit and miss. The margarita pizza was disappointing, not enough sauce and the pizza was very dry. The other two were better. Service was very good!

This is an oldie! An all time favorite in the Santana row area. First of all, they make great, fresh, yummy pizzas. Their menu is rather simple, but everything is so flavorful and you won't go wrong with anything on the menu. I feel like their starters are very limited. But then again we usually go straight to the main course. In pastas we love their gnocchi. In pizzas we love the classic margherita. The decor is very modern, outside seating is very pleasant with the heating towers, inside is warm and cozy. There usually is a wait, but worth it.

I've been here so often before and I actually like the remodel. I think that they were able to seat more people now than before by shifting kitchen into the back, changing the bar seating and the host area.It feels more roomy. The ambience still tend to the darker side of things. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The pizzas are great still. I really liked their appetizers too. They are all very fresh and delicious! In terms of wait time, it still takes a long time as expected for weekends.

Caesar chopped salads are great. There pizza dough has changed for the better. We had the mushroom pizza with cheese and garlic and no sauce that tasted great.

It was girls night and we stopped by on a busy Friday night before we caught a movie. We were really lucky that we didn't wait long for a table outside in their very nice seating area.I tried the sweet corn pizza and the spicy fennel sausage. Both were good and freshly baked. I tried the pepperoni as well. Overall, I would say their pizza is GOOD but I can't imagine them being worth the price. We (of course) ordered a few drinks, some of which included the Bay Side and Fragola drink. Now those were great! Props to the bar. I also thought our waitress outside was very attentive and polite.

First time trying the food here. We got the carrot soup and the mushroom pizza. The soup was great and different. The pizza was interesting but not completely satisfying. We will visit again for the reasonable prices and the great location.

Just reopened during social distancing. One of my favorite wood-fired pizza places. Their fried chicken is excellent. My GF loves their Caesar Salad and strawberry short cake.

Great for Italian pizzas, pastas, and salads. Really enjoyed the kale salad with pine nuts as well as the strawberry-mint lemonade. The manicotti was a unique crepe dish that I hadn't seen elsewhere before, but it was very well done! The only gripe was that there wasn't enough balsamic vinaigrette to go along with the olive oil and it was very difficult to capture the balsamic when dipping the bread...Sitting outdoors on a sunny afternoon and watching ladies with their toy dogs go by made life feel pretty great.

It was super busy on a Sunday afternoon and we didn't have a wait time at all. Pizza was decent and surprisingly had some flavor. The person that served us was not the nicest or friendliest. Didnt even pour water for us. The dessert was pretty darn good. Their drop coffee was good too!

This is my favorite place in the Bay Area to eat pasta with meatballs. They're very good and tasty. I've also ordered pizza and it was delicious as well. 100% recommended.

Very interesting way to get a table. You have to call 30 minutes before you want to eat and provide your name. Then when you arrive you will he told how long you need to wait for a table. They cannot provide you with an estimate when you call. Got a table for 8 on a Friday night after one hour which wasn’t that bad at the end. Overall service was pretty slow. Took 30 minutes to get water and cups. The drinks are delicious. The pizzas are also really good but DO NOT get the black olives on your pizza. Extremely salty. Overall a good choice for eating along Santana Row.

Pretty damn good. Try the calamari and the pear salad. We will be back! Would suggest coming off hours, we waited around 40 minutes.

The pizza does not taste as good as it looks. The dough does not taste good at all because it is paper thin, super dry, and flavorless. If you want to build you own pizza, you can only have so few options to choose. The size of the pizza is slightly bigger than a personal pizza from Blaze. But the difference is that two of these pizzas combined were $50! This place is overpriced. For a restaurant that has the word "pizza" in their name, I thought that they would invest more in the taste of their pizza. Instead, their focus is alcohol.

Delicious flavored pizzas. I loved the truffle oil and the potato. Meatballs are also pretty good. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass. It is a bit expensive overall but that’s Santana row for you :)

I had the best fried chicken so far! Meat was covered in honey batter and fried to the right point with awesome side veggies. Chicken was so tender and juicy while the coat was extremely crispy and soft at the same time.

Coming at around noon time on a Saturday, there was a wait of about 15-minutes. Got seated courteously by the hostess and were quickly greeted by our wonderful server, Andrea. Ordered their famous Margherita pizza and heirloom potatoes pizza. Looking at the menu, couldn’t resist the temptation to try Gnocchi. Wait for food was little longer than expected, but the Bay Area weather couldn’t have made anyone complain. Food was delicious, and Gnocchi was absolutely the right choice. Ended the meal with a slice of Tiramisu. Great afternoon, definitely coming back, soon!!!
